Free Unlock Status for iPhone 4 Baseband 4.11.08 and 4.12.01

Lately, many iPhone 4 users wonder if there is a free unlock solution for baseband 4.11.08 or 4.12.01 and how to implement it on their terminal. Well, unfortunately the answer is still no. At the moment there is no free method to unlock these iPhone 4 baseband's, of course, if previously you have not performed an unlock with SAM.

This question emerged after Dev Team successfully released a downgrade solution for iPhone 3G/3GS with baseband 06.15.00. Unfortunately, this downgrade solution does not work on all iPhone 3G/3GS terminals and sadly it is not available for the iPhone 4. read more

Safe and Easy Downgrade 6.15.00 iPhone 3G/3GS Baseband

The following article will show you how to perform a safe downgrade to 6.15.00 baseband on any iPhone 3GS/3G. We will use Redsn0w 0.9.14b1, the new solution for downgrade the iPhone 3GS/3G baseband 06.15.00 to 05.13.04, which can be unlocked with Ultrasn0w.

However, if you have an iPhone 3GS manufactured after the week 34 of 2011, this downgrade method will NOT work. Specifically, if you have an iPhone 3GS terminal with the serial number xx134 or higher (Settings > General > About > Serial Number) the installation of 05.13.04 baseband is not possible and will result in a total damage of your iPhone 3GS. read more

How to Save Unlock Ticket Made with SAM on iPhone 4/4S (Mac, Windows)

This tutorial will show you how to save unlock ticket in order to be used again on iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S. Dev Team has released redsn0w 0.9.10 beta 8, a version of the jailbreak tool that allows us to save the unlock with SAM. This is not the only method you can save this ticket but is by far the easiest.

To make the procedure must have the patch afc2 installed, patch that you find in Cydia under the name AFC2Add. You can start the saving procedure without checking if you have that patch on iPhone, if does not work then you can install it and repeat the process. read more

Free Unlock iPhone 4/4S on any iOS Using SAM Unlock Tickets

Dev Team has released a new redsn0w version which, among other cool things, allows us to redo the iPhone 4/4S unlock done initially with SAM method. This procedure applies ONLY to those who have already saved the unlock (ticket) with SAM, here you will find the tutorial. If you not have those unlock tickets you cannot unlock your iPhone 4/4S using this tutorial.

The latest options implemented in redsn0w utility provides only a method to restore the unlock already saved, so we are not talking about a possibility to unlock iPhone's that have not been previously unlocked. read more
